Dear Members of APSSM,

It's my great pleasure to announce the 19th biennial meeting of APSSM in Busan, Korea. Historically, it's the third time of APSSM Meeting held in Korea since the 2nd meeting of APSIR at Seoul in 1989 and the 11th meeting of APSSM at Jeju island in 2007, Korea.

Traditionally, APSSM meeting was held biannually. This meeting was decided in last 17th biennial Meeting at Melburn, 2019. For last 3 years, The COVID-19 outbreak has changed the planned academic activities and schedules of APSSM. Instead of regular 2021 APSSM meeting, LOC of Taiwan hold complementary half day meeting in 2021 and 2022 APSSM & TAASM & GCASMF regular meeting in hybrid. I regret that I could not join the Taiwan meetings.

From the uncertainty of COVID-19 pandemics, the quarantine and travel restrictions are still tight in some member countries. The scientific committee of 2023 APSSM tried to invite many members but some members cannot join on site. Despite the limitations, this meeting will focus on harmonious friendship of APSSM tradition and hospitality of KSSMA. Hence, 2023 APSSM meeting & 2023 KSSMA annual meeting will be present day by day in hybrid. Besides of academic activities of KSSMA, you can meet the history of APSSM from the old past presidents of APSSM in APSSM historical round table meeting. For the development of RAS of ISSM through collaboration with ISSM, ISSM President, Dr. Gerald Brock will give a state-of-the-art lecture, on site.

The venue of 2023 APSSM meeting, BPEX, Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center, is newly reconstructed international ferry terminal across Busan railroad station, at old town of Busan. You can see Youngdo Island, Busan tower, Namhang Bridge, Cable car at Songdo beach. In Apr 1st, the volunteer can experience Korean Temple Spirit & Temple Stay in Beomeosa Temple (Built in AD 678), a Korean National Treasure, Busan.

As congress president and president-elect of APSSM, I am very proud of holding this meeting at the end of 4 years of SG and will start due period of APSSM president from the end of this meeting.

It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to 19th Biennial Meeting of the Asia Pacific Society for Sexual Medicine (APSSM) in conjunction with 2023 Annual Meeting of 40th Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology and the 23rd Korean Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health annual meeting, which will be held from March 30 to April 1 in Busan, Republic of Korea.

Since the COVID19 outbreak, most international academic gatherings have been held online and opportunities to interact and exchange new knowledge have been limited. We are excited to be organizing this long-awaited offline event and look forward to greeting everyone in person.

This year's meeting will include topics such as recent updates in male and female sexual dysfunction, cutting-edge knowledge in penile surgery, and issues on the impact of testosterone on male health. Many distinguished experts have been invited to share their hands-on experience and recent research. We also plan to take some time to reappraise the APSSM's role as the leading society in the field of sexual medicine with a round table discussion on the past, present, and future of the APSSM. The 40th annual meeting of the KSSMA will also include joint APSSM/KSSMA sessions for in depth academic exchange, and updates on basic research and female sexual dysfunction will be introduced. We are also planning social events where you will be able to enjoy the sights and tastes of Korea and the beautiful city of Busan.

We hope that this conference will be the first in many that will give leading experts of the APSSM, ISSM and KSSMA a chance to socialize and share their knowledge. Our organizing committee and I are dedicated in making this an exciting and memorable event. Stay safe and healthy, and I hope to meet you all in Busan!
